About Fig & Pig Catering

With over 15 years of catering and restaurant experience, Culinary Institute of America graduate chef Holly Sheppard founded Fig & Pig Catering in 2012 to provide clients with accessible and delicious food, using the best possible ingredients. To this day, Fig & Pig continues to be a creative, quality-driven catering company devoted to showcasing seasonal ingredients and producing, exceptional, food-focused events.

COMPANY MISSION STATEMENT

Our team of professionally-trained chefs cook with dedication and pride to create thoughtful meals that are both comforting and modern. We work closely with our clients to build curated menus and distinctive settings that reflect the personality and vision of their event. Our custom menus highlight the skills of our team as well as the bounty of the seasons through refined, but approachable dishes.

HOLLY SHEPPARD

Chef & Owner

Chef and Owner Holly Sheppard initially moved from the South to New York City to pursue a career in comedy. After countless nights in comedy clubs and waitressing to pay the bills, she eventually found her true calling and took a turn for the kitchen. She’s worked in top restaurants across New York City honing her craft. With a dream to open her own restaurant but with little capital, Holly - being a true scrapper with an entrepreneurial heart - decided she would start Fig and Pig Catering. At the end of the day, all she’d really need was a client. Fast forward seven years later and Fig & Pig is a thriving business with continued growth and success annually. Holly’s food reflects her life and Southern upbringing while constantly shifting and reflecting the endless inspiration of this cultural melting pot, The Big Apple.

Lainey nash

Event Coordinator

Born and raised in Portland, Oregon, Event Coordinator and West Coast transplant Lainey Nash has always been enamored with the cultural, energetic, and creative landscape that is New York City. After working in several creative industries since landing in the Big Apple, she would eventually find her place and passion in the world of food. She feels strongly that life’s precious moments can easily be conjured around a beautiful meal and will always strive to create experiences that are both personal and memorable for her clients.
