Planning Your Corporate Event at The Green Building
With more than 6,000 square feet of combined indoor and outdoor space, this rustic Brooklyn wedding venue highlights the building's industrial past. The venue's original exposed brick walls, natural light, and open-beamed ceiling make a unique setting for your corporate event in Brooklyn, New York.
We can accommodate up to 250 guests for a cocktail party, 160 for a sit-down dinner with room for a dance floor. Fall in love with 4,000 square feet of open space, 17' exposed beam ceilings, original brick walls, and floor to ceiling glass doors to the courtyard allowing for ample natural light. Plus, our 2400 sq. ft. courtyard has room for up to 200 guests standing.
Please review our list of preferred caterers, who have a history of creating amazing events at 501 Union. They know our venue intimately, provide stellar service, and of course … delicious food. You may also utilize an outside company, including food trucks and restaurant drop-off, but every vendor must carry a certificate of insurance (COI).
All beverage service at 501 Union will be exclusively provided through our in-house bar program. There are several tiers and options to cater to different needs of our clients. Our packages offer your guests a hand-selected assortment of local and popular options as well as our expertise in service. We are happy to customize a cocktail program for your company!

The Green Building is just four subway stops to Lower Manhattan. Take the F/G to Carroll Street or R to Union Street. We encourage ride share, and the closest parking lot is at 365 Bond Street. We are also happy to make recommendations for valet for your guests.
Event Staffing & Details.
All events booked at The Green Building come with our basic staffing package. Two event staff members will be present one hour prior to event start time and will remain onsite throughout the duration of the event and breakdown. The basic staffing package includes eight (8) hours of service (including breakdown of the event). Additional staffing is determined based upon the number of guests invited, the utilization of the space, load in and load out needs. These employees are paid by hourly rates, rather than a calculated gratuity or tip.

500 sq. ft kitchen featuring ample counter space, two (2) low-boy refrigerators, one (1) ice machine, one (1) three-compartment sink, recycling bins, and trash cans. There are eight outlets on separate 20-amp breakers and one outlet on a 60-amp breaker.
In-house sound system compatible with most DJ equipment with iPod hook-up and wireless mics
Chandeliers and pin lights on dimmers
Wall-mounted projector with optional 12 ' x 7' screen, perfect for a slideshow or film screening

The Green Building is equipped with an in-house sound system including speakers, two wireless microphones, and a built-in projection system. Based upon the needs of your wedding, an in-house A/V technician familiar with our systems may be required at an additional fee.
